Bond. James Bond

The new 007 movie with new Bond (Daniel Craig) is quite an event this weekend. I was wondering why this brit reminded me another Roman-like cinema star, Kirk Douglas (this one of Russian origin).

What might be similar, astrologically, between two people, one of them born on 09.12.1916 and another on 2.3.1968? Let’s look at the charts - I rotated them for convenience, such that Sun is on ascendant.

Both have:

1) Sun in a double-bodied sign

2) retro-Jupiter in a fiery sign

3) reception Sun-Jupiter

4) oriental Venus

5) strong occidental Mars

6) afflicted Saturn

7) Rahu in 2nd from Sun

Differences in Mercury and Moon – but still,
Douglas’ Mercury is in trine with Jupiter, whereas Craig’s one is in conjunction with Venus: both under beneficial influence. Douglas’ Moon is combust by opposition with Sun, and Craig’s Moon is afflicted by Saturn and Rahu. Oriental Venus in a sign of malefic is a significator of profession, which is defined by occidental strong Mars: both guys are successful actors in brutal movies. Craig has Jupiter (retro) on Regulus – his salary in the modern cinema leaves Douglas far behind...

Douglas said once: "People are always talking about the old days. They say that the old movies were better, that the old actors were so great. But I don't think so. All I can say about the old days is that they have passed". In his time, nobody realised the cinema was in its golden era. To compare, just watch the Spartacus.
