Not funny

“Norbit” has already got lots of bad reviews, and mine is only an addition to that. The film fulfils the dream of Eddie Murphy who said once: “I'd like to produce, direct, write, score, and star in a film in exactly the way Charlie Chaplin did.” The result of this dream is a boring, unsmart, sometimes even disgusting ‘comedy’ which makes nobody to laugh.

In Murphy’s chart, the ruler of ascendent is exalted in 9th house, and Rahu is on the cusp of 2nd house. This is good for success and prosperity: Sun strengthens personality - but still, it is not enough for the quality of mind. The responsible luminary, the Moon, is detrimented, as well as the Mercury; nothing helpful from their dispositors: they are not dignified either. That powerful Sun helps create so different faces of three personages performed by the same actor, but there is nothing to fill their characters: the Moon is too weak.

Hollywood, with its excellent funding and professional production, sometimes creates this kind of strange movies, employing the lucky with money. This is how the cinema industry fails, if not supported by a thoughtful talent.
